Organic acids as alternatives to antimicrobial feed additives in swine production

The analysis of the literature data revealed that several organic acids enhance growth and improve feed conversion efficiency of piglets and fattening pigs compared with the non-acidified control diet. However, in piglets attention should be paid on the effect of different organic acids on diet palatability.
