Abstract

Tutkimuksessa selvitetään kirjallisuustutkimuksen ja Kasvintuotannon tarkastuskeskuksen Viljalaboratorion Viljaotanta-aineiston avulla ympäristötuen mukaisten typpi- ja fosforilannoitustasojen vaikutusta viljakasvien tärkeimpiin laatutekijöihin. Typpilannoitustasot ovat alentuneet Viljaotanta-aineiston mukaan eri viljoilla 6-25 kg/ha ja fosforilannoitustasot vastaavasti 5-10 kg/ha. Kaikkien viljakasviemme hehtolitran- ja tuhannen siemenen painot ovat olleet alhaisemmat vuosina 1995-2001 kuin 1990-1994. Alentuneet typpi- ja fosforilannoitus selittävät kuitenkin näiden laatutekijöiden heikkenemisestä vain pienen osan. Kirjallisuustutkimuksen mukaan typpilannoitustason aleneminen on havaittu selvimmin valkuaispitoisuuksissa ja fosforilannoituksen aleneminen ohran hehtolitran- ja tuhannen siemenen painossa.

The effects of environmental programme and reduced fertilizer rates on the quality of cereals are monitored and estimated. The methods used are literature study and analysis of the results from annual survey of the Plant Production Inspection Centre. According to the annual surveys, nitrogen rate has decreased 6-25 kg/ha and phosphorus rate 5-10 kg/ha between the period of 1990-1994 and the period of the first environmental programme 1995- 2001. In 1995-2001, hectolitre and 1000 kernels weight have been lower with all cereals compared to 1990-1994. This decrease is only very slightly explained by the decreased nitrogen and phosphorus rates. According to the literature study, the reduction of nitrogen rate is most easily observed in protein content and the reduction of phosphorus rate in hectolitre and 1000 kernels weight of barley.
